Drawing on a broad spectrum of Indian painting traditions and popular arts, as well as the western canon, NS Harsha creates quietly philosophical, luminous works that reflect on geopolitical order and our ever-more technologically mediated relationship with the world. In exquisitely rendered paintings, works on paper, wall and floor works, sculptures, site-specific installations and public projects, the Mysore-based artist examines structures, borders and barriers as a series of ever-shifting concepts, alluding to an interconnectedness that compels the viewer to consider their relationship to the art work as part of a wider conversation about systems of knowledge, belief and power. Harsha’s work entwines strands of personal biography with the shared narratives and broader socio-political scenarios of our at once macrocosmic and microcosmic world. A macro economic dispute on price band of Rs 30 to 60 per day , , is similarly concerned with the personal politics of labour. The painting depicts banks of farmers and businessmen ankle-deep in a paddy field, in a clear allusion to the dynamics of emerging economies and their human cost. Yet, Harsha’s treatment of his subject matter is defined by temporal shifts, ambiguities and art historical references that guard against too reductive an interpretation. While storytelling endures at the heart of his practice, linear narrative remains absent from the loosely gridded compositions of Harsha’s recent canvases, which feature successions of musicians and dancers, langur monkeys and cows animals venerated in Hindu culture , dairy farmers and scientists. The artist has described the process of producing these works as something like a chanting with forms, recalling a musical sense of cyclical time.

Date and time functions operate on a date and time input value and return a string, numeric, or date and time value. Adds the number, which represents months, to the date. If the number is negative then the date is reduced by the number of months. Returns datetime formatted according to the format string. The specifiers in the following table can be used in the format string. If the format specifier is inappropriate to the data type of datetime , then NULL is returned. Week Returns an integer containing the specified unit component of the input date.
The following table lists valid unit parameters. A unit parameter must be specified using a quoted string for example: ‘YEAR’. The parameter is case sensitive.

The Array Interface. Starting in NumPy 1. The datetime API is experimental in 1. The most basic way to create datetimes is from strings in ISO date or datetime format. The unit for internal storage is automatically selected from the form of the string, and can be either a date unit or a time unit. When creating an array of datetimes from a string, it is still possible to automatically select the unit from the inputs, by using the datetime type with generic units.
The datetime type works with many common NumPy functions, for example arange can be used to generate ranges of dates.

The general rule is that the wall clock is for telling time and the monotonic clock is for measuring time. Rather than split the API, in this package the Time returned by time. Now contains both a wall clock reading and a monotonic clock reading; later time-telling operations use the wall clock reading, but later time-measuring operations, specifically comparisons and subtractions, use the monotonic clock reading. For example, this code always computes a positive elapsed time of approximately 20 milliseconds, even if the wall clock is changed during the operation being timed:.
Other idioms, such as time. Since start , time. Until deadline , and time. Before deadline , are similarly robust against wall clock resets. The rest of this section gives the precise details of how operations use monotonic clocks, but understanding those details is not required to use this package.

Create a new commit containing the current contents of the index and the given log message describing the changes. The new commit is a direct child of HEAD, usually the tip of the current branch, and the branch is updated to point to it unless no branch is associated with the working tree, in which case HEAD is “detached” as described in git-checkout.
The –dry-run option can be used to obtain a summary of what is included by any of the above for the next commit by giving the same set of parameters options and paths. If you make a commit and then find a mistake immediately after that, you can recover from it with git reset. The Canadian Press Staff. Etienne and Delima Sampson were forced to live apart for the last four years. Courtesy: Karen Sampson. Health and Wellness Minister Randy Delorey says couples should be able to be together even if one person may need a different level of care. Under the current law, if partners need different levels of long-term care, they are often separated. The new legislation would allow couples to be placed together at the highest care level required, meaning in cases where one spouse requires nursing home care and one requires residential care, the couple would be placed in a nursing home.
Delorey says the government will work with Veterans Affairs Canada to ensure the right also applies to spouses of veterans. The change will apply to couples as defined in the act for admission to one of the long-term care homes licensed and funded by the province. Nova Scotia has struggled with a shortage of long-term care beds, however Delorey said the new legislation isn’t expected to add extra stress to the system.
